Terms of Use
Effective October 31, 2026 · Development preview
1. Accepting these terms
These terms apply to the HiMessage app and website. Use only if you are at least 16, meet local age requirements and can accept these terms. The service is a development preview, not yet a public production release. Its legal operator details are pending and must be supplied before that release.
2. Accounts and preview verification
Use only numbers and content you are authorized to use. The temporary code 1234 is shared test authentication and does not prove control of the phone number. No SMS is sent yet. Use test accounts and do not impersonate others. Keep session credentials private and revoke unknown sessions.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use HiMessage for fraud, threats, harassment, exploitation, illegal material, infringement, unsolicited bulk messaging or impersonation. Do not scrape user data, bypass permissions, disrupt service, distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict accounts or content to address abuse or legal requirements.
4. Content, groups and channels
You retain your rights in content you share and grant the processing permissions necessary to store and deliver it to your chosen audience. Share only content you may lawfully distribute. Recipients may save, copy or forward it. Administrators manage group and channel participation. Leaving or removing a conversation from your list does not erase other participants' copies.
5. Calls and location
Calls need connectivity and device permissions. HiMessage is not an emergency calling service: use your carrier for emergency calls. Carrier data charges may apply. Live location sharing is voluntary and may be interrupted by network, battery or operating-system restrictions. Location and map data may be incomplete or inaccurate; do not use them for emergency response or safety-critical navigation.
6. Privacy and account requests
The Privacy Policy describes current processing. A deletion request is not confirmation that an account or data has been deleted. During shared-code testing, requests require separate identity verification and automatic deletion is disabled.
7. Availability and responsibility
Preview functionality may change, fail or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted delivery or preservation of all data. Keep your own copies of material you need. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the preview is supplied without additional warranties. Nothing excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes, suspension and contact
We may update these terms, with notice where required. You may stop using the service at any time. Use in-app Help and feedback for questions; the proposed support mailbox is still being provisioned. No governing jurisdiction or dispute forum has been selected yet; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
